ETS Online Ticket Fare Increased! Introduced new MobTicket App

Starting from July 2015, every ticket you purchase from the KTMB website (E-ticket) will be charged extra RM2.00 as administrative charges (inclusive 6% GST). This additional fee also applied to the ticket purchased in the new app KTMB-MobTicket.


For example, from Ipoh to KL Sentral, the ETS ticket price for Silver class will be RM27 instead of RM25. For return ticket price, it will be RM 54 in total.

An Android app was introduced by KTMB to allow users to purchase the ticket (ETS Electric Train Service and KTM Intercity) via mobile phone. Currently this app is not available for iOS users.


It is paperless! You don't need to print the ticket, just show it on your phone.

Any ticket(s) transaction that is successfully made through via MobTicket will be saved and stored into customer’s smart phone in the form of image(s). Customer(s) can use that ticket as a valid document to board the train subjected that they must show and present it at any time required by KTMB’s staff for ticket inspection purposes.
