Recently, I addicted with this online game - TianJi(天机) Online. I played from the time I woke up until midnight, even got Euro's football match also didn't watch.

Grid Computing

Grid computing joins together many individual computers, creating a large system with massive computational power that far surpasses the power of several supercomputers. Because the work is split into small pieces that can be processed simultaneously, research time is reduced from years to months, or even days. The technology is also more cost-effective, enabling better use of critical funds.

World Community Grid projects include:

•FightAIDS@Home. (November 2005). Accelerates research to identify effective and inexpensive anti-HIV drugs. The first stage, which involved more than two quadrillion calculations, has been completed.
•Fiocruz Genome Comparison (November 2006) Provides researchers with improved cataloguing and annotation capabilities regarding complex gene sequencing data.
•Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy (December 2006) Will help researchers design molecules to inhibit or enhance binding of particular macromolecules, with the hope of finding better treatments for muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular diseases.
•Help Defeat Cancer. (July 2006) Analyzes cancer tissue microarrays that will lead to a rich data base to help doctors diagnose, treat and provide more accurate prognoses for cancer patients.
•Human Proteome Folding Project 2. (June 2006) Holds great promise in uncovering the role of proteins and their impact on diseases such as malaria.

Drama watching - 原来爱上贼

Recently, I watch this Hong Kong's drama series 原来爱上贼 (Catch Me Now). I like to watch this type of drama, the battle of strength and intelligent between police and thief. The thieves are not like the thief that are cruel and no humanity. They punish the rich guy who violate the law actually by robbed their money. A portion of the money they robbed is used to donate and help the people who is needed. The police trying to arrest them but they found that the thieves have the same objective with them. Finally, the thieves cant struggle against the law.一宗「犯贓款被劫案」中警探江揚(马德钟)碰上了賊魁高哲(刘松仁)，由此揭開了兵賊斗法的序幕。在調查的過程中，江揚發現高哲並非想象中的窮凶極惡，相反高哲另有一套鋤強扶弱，劫富濟貧的俠義精神，沒有了警察面對的規限，有時高哲這賊魁甚至更能伸張正義。兵賊雖然誓不兩立，有時卻又殊途同歸，二人由仇敵到惺惺相惜，繼而發展出一段亦敵亦友的複雜關係……

Big Apple Donuts & Coffee in Kinta City

Last Sunday, I and my friend went to Jusco Kinta City to feel the air-conditioning because of the hot weather. Ipoh's weather was really hot because few days did not raining.

When we walked past the food court, we saw there was a lot of people were queue up to buy something. I saw the signboard was BIG APPLE DONUTS & COFFEE. It is just opened just few weeks ago. My friend said KL had many donuts shops such as J.CO and Dunkin. This kind of business was fresh in Ipoh. I thought it was the first ever donuts specialized seller shop in Ipoh. It made me curious with it and wanna to know how the donuts can attract so many people to queue up. Is it the taste or it was still fresh in Ipoh. :p

I and my friend queue up about 20 minutes to buy it. There was many kinds of flavor like chocolate, cheese, durian and the others. We bought 12 pieces for RM17. The taste was good but I like the cheesy donut.
